.png) The name citing the ancient Egypt, the world of pharaohs and pyramids foreshadows an age-old breed, but there is no millenary history behind the Sphinx. However surprisingly it may sound, this naked-skinned, large-eared, statue-like, majestic cat does not originate from the hot desert, but from a country of bleak and cold weather: Canada.
The Sphinx is one of the non-conventional cats, not only for its appearance, but also for its touch. Its skin is velvety soft, smooth, a little sleek. At first, the kitten is quite wrinkled at first, but later on as it becomes an adult it merely “grows into its coat”. For winter it stores fat under its skin so its wrinkles flatten out a little.
The Sphinx is an elegant, large-eared, man-centered cat, which loves bathing but does not require any special treatment.
There is no extra nurturing or feeding but there is extra love and attention with which it overwhelms its owner.
It always likes to be near people, it is a fantastic character, a real naked wonder.
I only breed cats of exquisite quality, as the quality and health are the most important for me!
